How It Works

Express Personal Banking is a fast and secure way to open a personal checking, savings, or certificate of deposit account online. Our step-by-step application guides you through the process, clearly outlining the information and documentation you’ll need along the way. You can even pause and return to your application at any time.

What You’ll Need:

  • Social Security Number
  • Driver’s License or Passport (including expiration date and issuing state/province)
  • Birth Date, Mother’s Maiden Name, Email Address
  • Home Address and Telephone Number
  • Previous Home Address (if you’ve lived at your current address less than two years)
  • Employment Information

If funding your new account from an external bank, you’ll also need:

  • Your account number
  • The name of your external financial institution
  • Your bank’s routing number (found on your checks)
